Amsterdam will perform in Liverpool this Wednesday as very special guests of Britpop legends Dodgy at the Carling Academy. Mark Morris of the Bluetones will also be there opening up the show.

After the sensational night launching the album in Liverpool on Saturday all attention is now on the capital where the gang launch the album again at the Borderline club on Wednesday night.

Stage time is 9:15pm and a great Borderline night is promised. The band will be performing as a 7-piece on the night!

Amsterdam will now perform three times on Radio Merseyside in the coming days. Firstly Ian and Paulie will be playing live and talking about the new album on the drivetime show this Thursday at 6:45pm. You can listen live at www.bbc.co.uk/liverpool.

Then on Saturday morning the band will be in with Liverpool legend and long time band supporter Billy Butler at 10:30am on his BBC show. This will feature a full interview and one or two tunes from the gang.

Sunday night on the Dave Monks show will be time for a full one hour live performance at 9.00pm which was pre-recorded last month on a great night inside the station itself.

To celebrate the release of the album amidst all of the fine reviews, every Amstedamster’s fave journalist Al O’Hare gives his insight into the great new record.

Liverpool launch weekend!

Liverpool is the place to be next weekend as Amsterdam finally release their new album Arm in arm. Firstly the gang will be being interviewed live on BBC Radio Merseyside on Friday 14 at 6:30pm on the drivetime show. You can listen online at www.bbc.co.uk/liverpool.

The day after on the 15 sees the big launch show at the world famous Cavern club. Doors for the show will be at 7:30pm. Support comes from the fab up and coming new band The Trestles (8:15pm) and Liverpool legend Digsy with his new band The Sums (9:00pm).

Sunday the 16 has the recently recorded live show from BBC Radio Merseyside being broadcast in full at 9:00pm on the Dave Monks show. The gang had a memorable evening recently playing to an invited audience in the radio station itself.

The album is finally released on Monday 17 March and Amsterdam will play a short show inside Zavvi (formerly Virgin) and will also be signing copies of the new CD. This begins at 5:30pm. The gang will then be undertaking a pub crawl to celebrate St. Patrick’s day and the release of their new record. All are welcome!

Following all this Liverpool activity Amsterdam will then decamp to London for a very important show at the Borderline club. This show which will act as a press launch is on Wednesday 19th and the boys will need all the southern support you can muster for this one. Tickets are on sale from Seetickets.
