The full Amsterdam SEVEN piece spectacular will return to the stage in March 2010 with two shows already confirmed.
The first show is at fantastic London venue the Luminaire on Saturday 13 March with another the week after at Liverpool spiritual home the O2 Academy on Saturday 20 March. One or two other shows are now being considered.
Following the wrapping up of the final Pele reunion date Ian is chomping at the bit to get back to playing new music. “I enjoyed myself doing those few shows with my old band and I really cant wait for the full Amsterdam ensemble to tackle a couple of those older songs – Policeman will sound unreal with the seven of us.
But the most important thing by a mile is Amsterdam music and especially the new stuff which is sounding fantastic, it seems we really know what we’re doing these days. I cant wait”.
Tickets for the shows are on sale right now, for the Luminaire at wegottickets.com and ticketweb.co.uk and for Liverpool at ticketweb.co.uk.
Re-familiarise yourselves with that fantastic Amsterdam sound now:
Johhny Barlow
A brilliant video has been made to showcase Johnny Barlow’s solo work so far. Listen to Johnny discuss his new songs and how he has approached finally getting his own music out there in this brilliant short documentary.

Pele will hit the stage at 9:45pm for the final reunion show this Saturday night. The show will begin at 8:00pm with Richard O’Flynn before the great Colin Clarke from Rain hits the stage.
You WILL be able to pay on the door though tickets will be cheaper from the Cavern pub opposite. We hope everybody has a great time and brings their singing voices to say goodbye to a great nineties band before Ian continues on his grand musical journey with Amsterdam early next year.
