Ian gets holy for Janice Long

Ian and Janice

In what is being described as ‘a kind of live Desert Island Disks’ by its organisers, the ‘In Conversation With…’ evenings at Liverpool Anglican Cathedral starting this month will give audiences a chance to get to the heart of what makes some of the city’s most respected and well-loved names tick.

The series begins on Thursday March 25 2010 when the legendary radio presenter Janice Long will be interviewed by BBC Radio Merseyside presenter Dave Monks; her favourite songs will be performed by Ian Prowse of local legends Amsterdam. Scandinavian songstress Ragz and Ian McNabb will also be performing.

Ian commented “I’m so excited to do this for our mate Janice and get the chance to sing my song in such a beautiful building, you can’t go anywhere in Liverpool without turning a corner and seeing that  magnificent edifice”.

Tickets for ‘In Conversation With…Janice Long’ and ‘In Conversation With…Mike McCartney’ are on sale now and can be purchased at www.cathedralshop.com or by calling 0151 702 7255.
