A Day at the Bridges

Amsterdam will be performing at the second ever Day at the Bridges on Saturday 24 July. The gang will be on stage around 5 o’clock. The entire event is an unbelievable £5 ONLY! It’s worth it just to visit such a beautiful part of the country.

Also performing are the Wonder stuff’s Miles and Erica, Dan Donnelly and Mark Morris from the Bluetones. It’s a truly beautiful part of the country and the Horseshoe Inn is worth the visit alone. Over 600 happy revellers enjoyed themselves last year.

Full Sound City line up announced

Due to technical difficulties with erecting a Marquee, the Sound City headlining show on May 21st has been moved to Liverpool University Stanley Theatre.

The fantastic line up now includes Sean Francis Butler & The Stunards (ex-Sonic hearts), Jack Roberts (Bingo Brothers), Digsy and the Sums and Strawhouses. All for just £8. Tickets available now from ticketweb.co.uk.

The Stanley theatre is where Joe Strummer played his last EVER show on November 22nd 2002 so Amsterdam are thrilled to be treading the same boards.

Bargain tickets now on sale for Liverpool Sound City

You can now buy your tickets for Amsterdam’s special performance at this years Liverpool Sound City.

The Sound City people have pegged the tickets at an unbelievable £8 for the event which will take place in a specially erected Marquee on Seel Street in the city centre.

One of the support acts on the night has been confirmed as Digsy and The Sums.

Amsterdam invited to play Liverpool Sound City

Liverpool Sound City 2010

The band are very excited to have been specially invited to play this years Liverpool Sound City for the first time.

This years four day event includes Gil Scott Heron, The Macabees and Ian McCullough as well as hundreds of other shows across the city.

Amsterdam will perform in a specially erected marquee called ‘The Church of Sound City’ which will be on Seel Street opposite the Zanzibar club.

Very special guests on the night will be Digsy and the Sums who are one of the very best bands on the Liverpool scene. The show will take place on Friday 21 May.
