Ian will be special guest of fabulous Irish singer Eoin Glackin in Dublin on Thursday 14th March. The show is to launch Eoin’s second album ‘Rain finally came’.

Amsterdam frontman’s first solo tour will now include a special show for the annual Liverpool Sound City event at the Anglican cathedral.

The show which will be as support to Kevin Rowland’s reformed legendary Dexy’s and will take place on Saturday 4th May.

Ian will perform with a small 4 piece ensemble to play in what is one of Liverpool’s most iconic and striking buildings  tickets for the event and all other Sound City info can be found here:

The first ever UK Ian Prowse solo tour has had 3 extra dates added with the high possibility there will be more.
The new dates include a trip up to Scotland, down to Stroud and an extra show in Chester.

Ian (and accompanying musicians) will head out over the UK in the coming months to play a series of acoustic shows which will draw upon his 21 year career of song and to road test the tunes written for the new album which will be recorded early in 2013.

The gang will finish the end of year tour with a final show in Liverpool this Saturday night. The men and women of the band are really looking forward to wrapping up this era of Amsterdam with a blinding show following two fabulous performances in Leeds and London.

Main support will come from The Ragamuffins (who impressed Ian greatly with performances at the now legendary Monday Club). First on will be new Merseyside band Only Child.

The night starts at 7.30 and Amsterdam will hit the stage at 9.15.
