Amsterdam will play an early evening FREE show at the South:Central Festival in Sutton, South London on Friday 4 September.

Sutton’s SouthCENTRAL:Festival (4-6 September, Sutton High Street, South London) has pulled in a cracking line-up. For a free event the festival is punching well above its weight, and why would you want to be anywhere else except Millennium Square for three days of exceptional live music – with the added bonus of an open-air bar.

Feel free to come and enjoy an evening with your favourite band!

The full Amsterdam line up returns to the stage this September with a show for the Working Class Music Festival which takes place to celebrate the TUC having their annual conference in the city’s brand new arena.

The festival is a riot of song and appreciation of the long struggle undertaken by working people to secure decent lives down the centuries.

The gig is on Tuesday 15 September at the New Picket near the Echo Arena. All information and tickets for the show is available at workingclassmusic.org.uk.

Support comes from the magnificent English folk singer/guitarist Phil Hare who has been a big influence on Ian down the years. Local band the Trestles will also be adding to the quality evening.

Ian will be promoting the show and the festival this Saturday morning on Billy Butler’s radio show at 11am on BBC Radio Merseyside.
