The United Kingdom’s best live band will be announcing some special summer shows over the next few days so keep checking the news section to see if the boys are coming to a town near you.

The lads have recently been writing and working on new material some of which will definitely be aired at the up-and-coming gigs.

The first show will be at the uber-trendy Zanzibar club in Liverpool on Saturday 10 June. This night has been specially picked to celebrate England’s first world cup match against Paraguay which takes place in the afternoon so a crazy night is expected!

Support on the night will come from up and coming Radio Merseyside favourites The Circle as well as brand new band The Missing Beats, both of whom can be found on MySpace.

Amsterdam have played a successful show at the Zanzibar club once before. After the show, Ian described the gig: ‘It was probably the worst night of my life, so I’ll be glad to go back under much happier circumstances and put the record straight for me personally’.

Ticket information and further shows will be announced very shortly.

The gang would like to thank everyone who came out to see them. They all really appreciate the support all over the country. And anyone that hasn’t read Ian’s tour diaries should do so now, in particular to read about the unbelieveable Leeds-Portsmouth entry…

Amsterdam can also announce that they will be doing the Mathew Street festival again this year following last year’s triumph. They will appear on the main day which is Monday 30 August.
