Amsterdam finally return to the Capital for the first time in 2007 on Saturday 22 September to launch the live album at the Borderline club.
Excitement is already growing as most Amsterdam fans will know that the Borderline in Soho is the band’s spiritual home and it will have been 10 months since the boys played in London.
Tickets will be on sale soon and this will be the boys ONLY headline performance in London this year.
Meanwhile, after weeks of rumour and speculation here in Liverpool it has finally been confirmed that the Mathew Street festival have cancelled the main stage this year and cut the festival by one day. The boys received this communique from the Liverpool Culture company today;
Unfortunately due to having to re-evaluate the Festival this year we are unable to have the big act names as in previous years.
As you may be aware we have lost the Pier Head site due to the Canal Works and have had to reduce the event to two days due to various factors which has all meant that there will be no main stage in 2007.
We are sorry that we are unable to invite you to perform at this years festival, but we hope to work with you again in the near future.
Best wishes.

This unfortunatly means Amsterdam will NOT be peforming this year.The planned warm up show at the Red Lion Venue in Ellesmere Port WILL go ahead though for fans who feel let down.
