We are very excited to announce that the Does this train stop on Merseyside, The Very Best of Ian Prowse, Pele and Amsterdam album will be released next April and promoted with a full UK tour.
The album itself will include 8 Pele classics, 9 Amsterdam and 3 brand new songs. It will include duets with Elvis Costello and Christy Moore, number 1 hit singles, and many other of Ian’s belting tunes spanning 1991 to 2012.
SJM, the UK’s biggest music promoters, will also be helping out on the tour and the whole thing kicks off with a very special launch show in Amsterdam’s spiritual home The Borderline Club in London Town on Thursday 19 April.
The show itself will feature Amsterdam as a 7-piece riot of a band that will encompass all of Ian’s career as well as the brand new tunes which will appear on the CD. The album will be appearing on CIA Recordings Via Universal.
