Ian’s solo show with Miles Hunt, Dan Donnelly, Dirty Ray and Jim Bob (Carter USM) this coming Friday 30 September in London has unfortunately been cancelled.

We’re very sorry for this unavoidable decision but fans can still buy tickets for the big London show on Saturday 19th November at the famous Half Moon venue in London.

Amsterdam will play as a full band on this special night.

First ever Irish Sea Sessions album released.

   A live album has been released from the 2010 inaugural Irish Sea Sessions in Liverpool. Part super group, part session, part song, 14 musicians of differing backgrounds linked by the special relationship between Liverpool and Ireland came together for this incredible concert.
Ian’s classic song ‘Does this train stop on Merseyside’ proudly leads off the troupe before they descend into a riot of reels, tunes and beautiful song.

Only three full Amsterdam shows left in 2011

The full eight-piece Amsterdam rock, roll, celtic soul, pop show only has 3 full shows left this year.

The first of which is at the 02 Academy in Liverpool on Saturday 15th of October for the Liverpool Irish Festival. The gang then head south to rock the famous Half Moon venue in London on Saturday the 19 November.

The last full Amsterdam show of the year will be at the Raise the Banners festival in Bradford St Peters House on Saturday 26 November.

Tickets are available now for all three shows. The gigs will include brand new material as well as classic favourites from both Pele and Amsterdam ahead of next year’s big release.

Mick Jones added to ‘Don’t buy the Sun’ concert

Clash vocalist/guitarist Mick Jones has now been added to the Liverpool Olympia show on Saturday 24th September. Also adding their voices to the cause will be James Dean Bradfield, Paul Heaton, John Power, Pete Wylie, and The Farm.

Ian will be performing a 15 minute set with a full band. Other artists will be added in the coming days. Tom Watson the MP responsible for hounding Rupert Murdoch’s News International empire will also speak.

Stage times for this weekends shows

 Saturday nights joint show at Harefield Hall in the Yorkshire Dales with Ian and the great Dan Donnelly will begin at about 8.30. The gig will include solo sets from both artists as well as a joint performance.

The day after for the Mathew Street Festival will see the full Amsterdam band take the stage at 1.15 on the ‘Made in Liverpool’ stage on Williamson Square, Central Liverpool.
