New single and new live dates!

Following a hugely successful UK tour Ian and Amsterdam will release ‘Here I am’ as a single for the chosen charities of Tranmere, Liverpool and Everton on May 28 th. The top tapping, uplifting rocker (which features the first ever saxophone solo in one of Ian’s songs) will be released on The Birdman Records via all major download sites.

All profits will be split equally between the respective clubs charities, Everton in the community, Respect 4 all and Claire house children’s hospice.

A new slew of dates have also been announced including a huge homecoming event for Ian and Johnny (and support act Elsie) at Ellesmere Port Civic Hall. Also the annual solo Rodewald suite show has now sold out so a second date has been announced. Also Ian will be playing his first EVER solo headlining show in the capital. ‘Best of’ album released today, here’s a specially recorded new song to celebrate!

The much anticipated career retrospective album from Amsterdam and Pele frontman Ian Prowse is finally released today. The album contains 15 classic songs and 3 brand new tunes specially recorded for the occasion.

First we take Yorkshire…

Two dates for the UK’s biggest county are announced today, one solo and one a full band festival show.
The first is a solo appearance (we say solo but it rarely is!) from Ian on Friday 13th April at a truly beautiful venue in the Yorkshire dales, God’s Country. Tickets are available now:

A spectacular day and night in Liverpool

Saturday April the 21st will see the famous 7 piece Amsterdam circus roll into Liverpool as part of their ‘Best of Ian Prowse’ 2012 tour. The Kazamier venue has been specially chose as one of Ian’s favourite in the city. ‘It’s a brilliant place, it reminds me of the Globe where Shakespeare plied his trade, where ever you stand you have a fabulous view of the action, I’d watch any band there!’ claimed Amsterdam’s lead singer.

During the day the City of Liverpool will play host to the Sea Odyssey. A free spectacular commemorating the sinking of the Titanic. The streets of the city will see giants roam as a magical story unfolds over the weekend. All details are here:
